These terms apply when you download or use the Curvy app. By using Curvy you agree to them. Your use of the app is also governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"). If these terms and the Standard EULA conflict, the Standard EULA applies to the extent of the conflict.
Curvy is not medical advice. Scans, scores, training plans and nutrition targets are general fitness information and estimates, not a diagnosis or a substitute for advice from a doctor, physiotherapist or registered dietitian.
Who can use Curvy
You must be 16 or older to use Curvy. The app asks you to confirm your age before you start.
Subscriptions
Curvy's full features require an auto-renewing subscription, bought through Apple's App Store. The following plans are offered:

Prices are shown in US dollars. Apple charges the equivalent price in your local currency, which is shown in the app before you confirm, and may include local taxes.
- Payment. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase. If you start the Yearly plan with its free trial, you are charged $39.99 when the 3-day trial ends unless you cancel before then.
- Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period (each week, or each year) at the same price, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends.
- How to cancel. Open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, choose Curvy and tap Cancel Subscription. You can also manage it from your profile in the App Store app. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
- Free trials. Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
- Refunds. Purchases are handled by Apple, so refund requests go to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Restoring purchases. If you reinstall the app or switch iPhones, tap Restore on the subscription screen while signed in with the same Apple ID.
If we change a subscription price, Apple will tell you beforehand and, where required, ask for your consent before you are charged the new price.
Health and safety
- Check with a doctor before starting a new exercise or nutrition programme, especially if you are pregnant, injured, recovering from surgery, or have a medical condition.
- Stop exercising and seek medical help if you feel pain, dizziness, faintness or shortness of breath.
- Body scan results, zone scores and progress comparisons are estimates made from photos and your answers. They are not medical measurements and can be affected by lighting, pose, clothing and camera angle.
- Calorie and protein targets and food logging estimates are general guidance. They are not suitable for managing a medical condition or an eating disorder. If you are worried about your eating or your body image, please talk to a healthcare professional.
- You are responsible for choosing weights and exercises that are safe for you and for using equipment properly.
Your content
Photos you take and information you enter in Curvy remain yours. You give us permission to process them only as needed to provide the app's features, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
Please don't misuse the app: don't try to reverse-engineer it, interfere with its services, get around subscription limits, or use it to process photos of anyone other than yourself without their permission.
Availability
We work to keep Curvy running well, but features may change, and the app or its online services may occasionally be unavailable. The app is provided "as is" to the extent the law allows.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any injury, loss or damage arising from your use of Curvy, including from exercise or dietary changes you choose to make. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms materially, we will update this page and the date above. Continuing to use Curvy after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere, you may also have the protection of the mandatory laws of your country.
